VOCALS AND PERCUSSION

Erin has loved singing for as long as she can remember, she just wasn’t brave enough to do it in public until she went to college. Since then, she’s dabbled in various music projects that span genres from country to blues to pop to rock. Most notably, she sang for several years with the cover rock band Get Off My Lawn, and she has begun a personal endeavor to sing with 40 people who inspire her by the time she turns 40. As part of that effort, she has sung with Rachael Price (Lake Street Dive), Amanda Sudano and Abner Ramirez (Johnnyswim), Maggie Rose, and more (you can follow her on Twitter @my40x40 to find out who she’s reaching out to next and to be part of her journey!). A small sample of the singers who have influenced Erin include Grace Potter, Bonnie Raitt, Miranda Lambert, Stevie Wonder, and Stevie Nicks, but there are many, many others.

Born in Chicago, Erin has moved 17 times and lived in Columbus; Los Angeles; Richmond; a brief stint in Alicante, Spain; Syracuse; New York; and now the Maryland suburbs of DC. She worked in marketing and PR for nearly 10 years before changing careers and becoming an elementary school teacher.
